About
My goal as a photographer is to derive personal success from helping others gain theirs. I want to create beautiful photos and have a positive effect on whomever I meet. My passion is surf photography and being an avid surfer myself, I feel I have an impeccable eye for capturing the best moments on the
wave.

Born and raised in St. Augustine, Florida, I have been fortunate to be able to travel the globe. I first developed my interest in photography at the age of 12 while on a Safari in Africa. Some of my other favorite destinations have been Australia, Taiwan, Japan, the Caribbean, Europe, and of course Central America. My travels to Nicaragua started three years ago and this past year I invested in property in a
premier surfing region on the southwest Pacific coast. Upon graduating with a BA in Fine Art from UNF, my images have been placed in several publications. A recent surf image was published in ESM magazine along with another recent publication in the Limelight Theater newspaper. My work can also be viewed online at sufaricharters.com and blackpearlcreations.com.

My everyday equipment consists of my digital Nikon D200, 10 MegaPixel shoots 5 frames per second, 80-400 mm lens with a 600 mm magnification capability, D200, D80, as well as a SPL waterhousing with Nikon 1.8 lens. What sets me apart from other photographers in my industry is my extensive knowledge of the area, my equipment, contacts, connections, and last but not least, my passion for surfing. I believe that exceptional photography lies in the unique arrangement of natural subjects, immortalized by ones personal vision.
